I got a staff bacterial infection from lake water and the first symptoms I noticed were a sore throat then the throat pain seemed to go away and I noticed the stomach pain that put me in the hospital for two days. I was put on an antibiotic specifically to kill the infection and after 9 days of that I became better but little at a time my sore throat came back. I brushed my teeth and tongue and noticed it was the whole back of my tongue that was sore with red bumps. Im not sure if it is another side effect, an alergic reaction, or from the antibiotic killing off all the good bacteria too and now maybe its a yeast problem? I have no other symptoms other then red sores on the back of my tongue and they make my throat sore. Can you please help inform me what this could be?
